Co-performer Declaration & Documentation

All Creators are required to declare their co-performers and submit the required co-performer documentation when uploading content featuring anyone other than themselves.

This applies whenever you post content or stream Live with another performer.

Declaring Your Co-performers

Before publishing a vid, you’ll need to confirm whether it features any performers other than yourself.

On the Edit Vid page, select the appropriate option in the Co-performer Declaration section.

  • If the vid does not feature anyone else, select No.

  • If the vid does feature one or more co-performers, select Yes.

If you select Yes, you’ll be prompted to provide information about each co-performer and complete the requirements that apply to them.

You can add up to 25 co-performers to a vid.

Please note: When editing a previously uploaded vid, you may be required to make a selection in the Co-performer Declaration section before your changes can be saved.

What Documentation Is Required?

For every co-performer, you must keep:

  • A completed Co-performer Release Form

  • A scan or copy of their valid government-issued photo ID

The release form confirms that you have the necessary rights to distribute content featuring the performer on ManyVids.

You may use your own release form, or use the ManyVids template available here.

You must be prepared to provide this documentation to MV Support upon request within a reasonable timeframe.

For more information about record-keeping requirements, please review section 3.9 of the ManyVids Terms of Service for Uploaders.

Adding Verified Creator Co-performers

If your co-performer is a verified ManyVids Creator, you can add them using their MV username/stage name.

  1. Select Yes in the Co-performer Declaration section.

  2. Indicate that the co-performer is a Creator.

  3. Enter their MV username or stage name.

  4. Select the correct Creator from the list that appears.

  5. Click Add another performer if your vid features additional co-performers.

  6. Once everyone has been added, click Submit Documentation.

The tagged Creator will receive an email notification after submission.

Encouraging your co-performers to become verified Creators can help simplify the declaration process.

Can't Find the Creator?

If a Creator does not automatically appear when you search for them, declare them as a co-performer and submit their ID and completed release form with the upload.

Adding Non-verified Co-performers

If your co-performer is not a verified ManyVids Creator, you’ll need to upload their required documentation.

  1. Select Yes in the Co-performer Declaration section.

  2. Indicate that the performer is not a Creator.

  3. Upload all required documentation for that performer.

  4. Click Add another performer if there are additional co-performers.

  5. Upload the required documentation for each performer.

  6. Once all performers and documentation have been added, click Submit Documentation.

Can I Add Verified and Non-verified Co-performers to the Same Vid?

Yes. You can have both verified ManyVids Creators and non-verified performers in the same vid.

Simply use the appropriate co-performer option for each person and complete the applicable requirements.

Can I Edit or Replace Co-performer Information?

Co-performer information and documentation can only be edited before you submit the declaration.

Incorrect documentation for Co-performer 1

For the first co-performer, you can replace an incorrect document by selecting Upload and uploading the correct file in its place.

You can also refresh the page to start the declaration over.

Important: Refreshing the page removes all documentation uploaded for all co-performers, so you’ll need to start the declaration process again.

Incorrect documentation for Co-performers 2 and onward

For additional co-performer entries, click Remove to delete the incorrect entry. You can then add the co-performer again and upload the correct documentation.

Incorrect Creator

If you selected the wrong Creator, you can edit the Creator details directly in the entry before submission.

Click inside the Creator field and delete or replace the selected Creator name.

You can also use Remove to delete additional co-performer entries.

Important: Once you click Submit Documentation, you will no longer be able to edit or add co-performer information through the declaration.

What Happens After I Submit?

Once submitted, your co-performer documentation will be reviewed by the MV Team.

You may be contacted by an MV Team member if additional information or clarification is required.

What If My Vid Has More Than 25 Co-performers?

You can add a maximum of 25 co-performers directly to a vid.

If your content features more than 25 performers, send all of your performer documentation to help@manyvids.com so the MV Team can assist with verification.
