Uploading Vids on Mobile

ManyVids makes it easy to create, upload, and share content directly from your mobile device. With the Unified Upload Flow, you can upload photos and videos from your device, capture new content with your camera, or go Live.

Vertical videos are also highlighted on your profile through the Mobile tab, giving your mobile-friendly content increased visibility.

Unified Mobile Upload Flow

The Unified Upload Flow gives you a quick and streamlined way to publish content directly from your mobile device.

Accessing the Upload Flow

From the bottom navigation bar, you’ll find quick access to different areas of ManyVids:

  • Star icon: Creator Lander Page

  • MV Locket icon: Clubs Lander Page

  • Webcam icon: Live Lander

  • Shopping Bag icon: Marketplace

  • News icon: ManyVids Club for updates, promotions, and releases

  • Trophy icon: Contest Page

To upload content, tap the ➕ Plus Sign in the center of the navigation bar.

You can then choose from three upload options:

  • 📷 Camera – Capture new content using your device's camera.

  • 📁 Library – Upload existing photos or videos from your device.

  • 🔴 Go Live – Start a live stream and engage with your audience in real time.

Camera Upload

Use the Camera option to capture new photos or videos directly from your device.

  1. Tap ➕.

  2. Select Camera.

  3. Grant camera access if prompted.

  4. Choose whether you’re creating a Photo or Video.

  5. Process your content and optionally edit it.

  6. Continue through the Unified Post-Processing Flow.

Library Upload

Use the Library option to upload content that’s already saved on your device.

  1. Tap ➕.

  2. Select Library.

  3. Allow access to your device's media library if prompted.

  4. Select your photo or video.

  5. Process your content and optionally edit it.

  6. Continue through the Unified Post-Processing Flow.

Go Live

The Go Live option lets you stream directly from your mobile device and engage with your audience in real time.

  1. Tap ➕.

  2. Select Go Live.

  3. Grant camera access if prompted.

  4. Enter your Room Topic.

  5. Tap Go Live to begin streaming.

Finalizing Your Content

Photos and videos uploaded through the Camera or Library options continue through the Unified Post-Processing Flow.

Depending on your content, you can:

Edit Details

Add a title, description, and community to your content.

Add a Co-performer

If your content features other performers, add them and provide the required co-performer documentation.

Add a Price

Set a price for your content if you want to monetize it.

Launch

Once your content is ready, launch it to make it available through the applicable ManyVids services and offerings.


The Mobile Tab on Your Profile

Your profile includes a dedicated Mobile tab designed to highlight your vertical videos and provide a more mobile-friendly viewing experience for your audience.

Your profile includes two main content views:

All

The All tab displays all of your uploaded content.

If you have 5 or more Mobile vids, your vertical videos will also be highlighted in a Mobile Vids section at the top of the All tab for increased visibility.

Mobile

The Mobile tab displays only your vertical 9:16 videos.

Mobile vids are sorted by Newest only.

Which Videos Appear in the Mobile Tab?

Only videos in a 9:16 vertical format will appear in the Mobile tab. These will typically be videos recorded or uploaded from a mobile device.

Mobile Vid Thumbnails

Mobile vid thumbnails are automatically cropped to fit the vertical layout. You can also upload a custom vertical thumbnail.

To change a mobile vid's thumbnail:

  1. Click Edit on the vid.

  2. Select a new frame from the video, or

  3. Upload a custom thumbnail that fits the mobile format.

The Unified Upload Flow gives you flexibility based on how you create your content:

  • Camera: Capture content quickly while you're on the go.

  • Library: Upload polished or pre-edited content already saved on your device.

  • Go Live: Connect with your audience through spontaneous, real-time streaming.

Whether you're taking a photo, uploading a video, or going Live, the mobile experience provides a consistent way to create and share your content on ManyVids.
