Custom Vids allow Members to order personalized videos from their favorite Creators based on a script or specific requests. As a Creator, you can set up your Custom Vid service, manage your packages and options, fulfill orders, and cancel pending orders.
Set Up Your Custom Vid Service
To offer Custom Vids:
Go to the drop-down menu.
Select Dashboard.
Go to Manage My Store > Revenue Tools.
Select View next to Custom Vid.
Create Your Packages
You can create multiple packages based on video duration and price. The cost per minute will be calculated automatically.
To remove a package, click the trash can icon next to it.
Add Extras
Give Members the option to add extras to their order, such as special props, accessories, gestures, or other requests.
Extras can be free or offered at an additional cost. To remove an extra, click the trash can icon next to it.
Offer Different Resolutions
You can offer different video resolutions at different prices. Toggle the resolutions you want to offer and set a price for each.
Standard resolution is always available at no additional cost.
Offer Faster Delivery and Exclusivity
You can offer different delivery times at different prices, allowing Members to pay more for faster delivery.
You can also offer exclusivity for an additional fee, meaning the Custom Vid will be available only to the purchasing Member.
Once you've added all your options, click Save.
Note: You must create at least two packages for the Save button to appear. The minimum rate is $1.99 per minute.
Pause Your Custom Vid Service
If you need to take a break from filming Custom Vids, you can hide your service by selecting Pause at the bottom of the page and saving your changes.
When you're ready to accept Custom Vid orders again, toggle the service back on and save your changes.
Fulfill a Custom Vid Order
To fulfill a Custom Vid order, upload the video as you normally would. You can find the general upload instructions in How do I upload a vid?
Once the video has finished uploading and is ready to be edited:
Click Launch.
Under Custom Vid Order, select Yes.
Your pending Custom Vid orders will appear.
Locate the Member's username and select the appropriate order.
By default, the video will not be published to your profile and will only be available to the purchasing Member.
If you'd also like to make the video available for other Members to purchase:
Scroll up to the Available on MV section.
Select Launch right away!
Add a price.
Once all the details are complete, click Save.
The video will be sent directly to the Member, and the funds from the Custom Vid will be added to your earnings.
Cancel a Custom Vid Order
Creators can cancel pending Custom Vid orders directly without contacting Customer Support.
To view your pending Custom Vid orders, go to Dashboard > Performance Insights > Pending Custom Vids.
Once you locate the order you want to cancel:
Click the three dots (•••) next to the order.
Select Cancel Order.
Click OK in the confirmation pop-up.
That's it! No further action is required.
Once the order is cancelled, it will be automatically updated, and the Member will receive an email confirming the cancellation.
