On MV, you can sell both physical and digital items in your Store. The Store Item creation flow makes it easy to upload your item, add photos and video previews, customize your listing, and choose when it launches.
You can also sell Photo Sets as digital Store Items that members can download immediately after purchase.
1. Start Creating Your Store Item
From the drop-down menu, go to:
Dashboard → Quick Links → Create Store Item
When creating an item, you'll be guided through these steps:
Details → Options → Publish
2. Add Photos and Video
Add up to 4 photos of your item to show Members what they're purchasing.
Images:
Minimum 800 × 800px
JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WEBP
You can also add 1 video preview per item.
Video:
6–30 seconds
MOV or MP4
Maximum 50MB
3. Add Your Item Details
Add the key information Members need, including:
Item Name
Description
Category and subcategory
Quantity available
Price
Other details specific to your item
The options available to you may vary depending on the category and subcategory you select.
Store Item Categories
Store Items are organized into two main groups:
Tangible - Physical items that are shipped to Members.
Non-tangible - Digital or other items that don't require physical shipping.
Select the category and subcategory that best describe your item.
Existing Store Items will automatically be moved into the new category structure, so you don't need to re-file them.
SFW Setting
A SFW (Safe for Work) toggle is available to help categorize your items. The toggle is turned on by default for new items.
When editing an existing item, you can also update its SFW setting.
If your item contains nudity, sexually suggestive content, or explicit activities, select NSFW. This helps Members filter and navigate your Store.
4. Add Tags
You can add up to 10 tags to each Store Item.
You can select from existing tags or create a new one. New tags are checked against our forbidden words list.
Tags appear on your Item Detail Page, and Members can click a tag to filter items by that tag.
5. Configure Your Options
The Options step allows you to add additional details to your Store Item.
Depending on the item, you may be able to add:
Custom add-ons, such as a signed version of an item for an additional price
A link to an upcoming Live show
A link to a Vid Bundle
Available options depend on the type of item you're creating.
6. Set Your Price and Shipping
You set the price for your own Store Items. Prices can be set within the available range of $1.99 to $999.99.
For Tangible items that require shipping, you'll also need to provide shipping information and factor your shipping costs into your listing.
It's a good idea to research your shipping rates and options so you can enter an accurate shipping cost.
Shipping for Multi-Item Orders
When a Member purchases multiple Store Items from you in the same checkout, shipping is automatically bundled.
The highest applicable shipping cost is charged at 100%.
Additional Store Items from you in the same order are charged at 50% of their shipping cost.
When multiple quantities of the same item are purchased, the first item is charged at the applicable rate, and each additional item is charged at 50% of that item's shipping cost.
Shipping is calculated automatically at checkout.
7. Sell a Photo Set
A Photo Set is a Store Item designed for selling a collection of themed photos.
To create one:
Start creating a Store Item as normal.
In the Category section, select Photo Set.
Under the Photo Set upload option, select Choose File.
Upload a .zip file containing all the photos included in the purchase.
Add your title, description, price, and other details.
Set the quantity to 999 if you want the Photo Set to remain available and not go out of stock. You can use a lower quantity if you want to offer a limited number of purchases.
Save your Store Item.
Once purchased, Members can download the Photo Set immediately if the images have been uploaded as a .zip file.
If your Photo Set exceeds the maximum allowed file size, you'll need to deliver it to the Member directly via site PM using an approved file-sharing service.
How Members Download a Photo Set
After purchasing a Photo Set, a Member can download it by:
Going to Purchase History.
Finding the Photo Set purchase.
Clicking the three-dot menu next to the purchase.
Selecting Download.
8. Choose When to Launch
When you're ready to publish your Store Item, you have three options:
Launch Now - Make your item available immediately.
Save as Private - Save your item without displaying it on your Profile. You can make it public later.
Schedule a Launch - Choose a future date and time for your item to become available.
Important: Deleting an item is different from saving it as Private. Deletion is permanent.
Editing a Published Store Item
When editing an existing Store Item, you can jump directly to the section you need:
Details
Options
Publish
This allows you to quickly update a specific part of your listing without going through the entire creation process again.
Item Detail Page
Every Store Item has an Item Detail Page containing information about the item, including its category and subcategory.
The page can also display:
Related Vids associated with the item
Related Items, helping Members discover more of your Store Items
Fulfilling Store Item Orders
Store Item sales should be fulfilled within 30 days of purchase.
For items that require shipping, we recommend using a shipping method that provides tracking so both you and the Member can follow the delivery.
For digital items such as Photo Sets, make sure the required files are uploaded correctly so Members can access their purchase after checkout.
